About me

I’m Dominic Mongelli, a hard working, passionate, driven visual story teller born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I am currently a senior at DePaul University majoring in film and television with a concentration in Cinematography.

Film has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I have been creating work ever since I was able to get my hands on a camera, taking photos and videos of just about everything. When I first got to college the world of visual story telling pulled me in. I started making my way though the different departments trying to find what felt like the most creative output for me. I found the roles of DP and Gaffing to be the most enjoyable and fulfilling. Since then I have been exploring different ways of story telling through the camera and lighting.

My love for visual story telling has always come from my love of movies. It has helped shaped the creative I am today. Taking inspiration from the world around me.

My goal with visual story telling is to create a feeling that impacts the audience by creating art that is meaningful and moving and most of all inspiring to those who view it.
